Hello - I need to confirm what window spring I should be buying. The picture show the old part. the only markings I see are an 8 on the all plastic part and the numbers 440 stamped into the metal band on the other part.
Please let me know what part# to buy and if the kits include the metal rod that goes from the window into the window spring. Thanks,Gordon.

Hey Gordon. This looks like a 15-180 Pivot Shoe, which uses our Series 190 Coil Balances. A stamp marked 440 indicates you need the S190-440 4 pound spring. For new covers, see the 15-181. Let me know if you have further questions. |

Do these parts sell as a kit with all items needed or do I need to buy each piece separately?

I'm afraid that most coil balance systems are modular, meaning that each component is sold separately. There is a good thing to that however--you really only need to replace the items that are damaged, and can usually reuse older but still working components. |
