The latch has a cracked tip.

Thanks for posting! What are the dimensions of your latch? Just based off of your photos, it looks like it could be our 26-439 that has a 2-7/16" distance between the screw holes and an overall length of 3-11/16". What do you think?

The tip to tip is 3 and 3/8. The distance between holes is 1 and 11/16.

I'm afraid we don't have anything with only a 1-11/16" hole spacing. That's pretty small for a tilt latch. Most of ours have a hole spacing that exceeds 2". The closest I was able to find was our 1-13/16", but I don't know if this can work for you. See what you think.
