Thermotite night latches

Home Owner from USA

The problem with all these night latches is that they have popped out and wont go back in. I rarely flipped the windows to clean them on both sides . I don't know why it happened. We have three larger windows all with the same issue. Two in the livingroom and one in a bedroom. the smaller window in the bathroom also has a popped out night latch. We have top regular locks on each window too.

I am so frustrated with these night latches that have popped out making us, not be able to open the windows , more than 4 inches. It is very difficult to open the window anymore, without pulling the bottom window open and hold the night latch in and then open a window more. Here are some dimensions of these night sashes. It is three lines on the inch ruler wide on the front of it. See photo. it is 1/2 inch that sticks out from the window when it pops out. depth. It is three quarters of an inch long. I did not pop it out . Which one is best for us. I can use four of them.

Thank you.

The depth of the night sash is 1/2 that sticks out from the frame of the window.

I would need them in white. Thermotite tilt in windows.

Thanks for posting! It sounds like your night latches are definitely broken, but we can help. See our 26-362. It looks like this functions similarly to yours, but you may still want to remove an old one to make sure everything else matches up.

Are these good for windows that rotate in to clean both sides of the window.

I don't believe the window cleaning function should interfere with the operation of the vent latches. As long as the 26-362 fits the cut out in your window, it should work fine. Check the dimensions of the 26-362 and compare them with your latch.
