Question

I ordered what I thought were the correct parts but when they arrived, they were not even close. I really need to sliders that unlock the windows for tilting them to clean etc.

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! We do not have a replacement match for this release lever or the latch it is compatible with, unfortunately. That said, there is a repair solution we are confident should work for your repairs.

Our suggestion is to convert the window to one that uses a surface mounted tilt latch, which will make future repairs easier in the long run. In the video we recommend using the 26-228 and 26-229 tilt latches but we have a wide variety of of Surface Mounted Latches if these would not be a fit on the top of the sash.
