They are very old tilt-out windows

Hard for me to tell, but I'm wondering if upper and lower sash have the same pivot lock shoes. Each sash has insulated glass (two panes)and is very, very heavy. When lock shoes are broken or spiral balance is worn out the sashes become very dangerous to one's fingers.

Thank you for submitting your inquiry to our discussion board.

We can't really tell from these photos.

Top and bottom sashes usually have the same pivot shoes, but if there is any doubt then i wouldn't bet on it. You never know in this industry

We would be better able to identify what you have if we could see the parts out of the window, with dimensions.
