Thickness of 55-164

Hi:

I' have had to replace our vinyl bead more than twice because of hail damage. I have been buying replacement bead locally, but it is only .025" thick and keeps braking. Is your 55-164 thicker than that or is it the same thickness?

The wall thickness of our 55-164 vinyl glazing is .045". I wouldn't guarantee it against hail, however. Nature is tough and there really isn't a glazing on the market that can resist it.
