This Door Lock does not Lock Properly

A home owner from Clarksville, IN says:
We purchased a home "As Is". This door is an insulated slider the only markings on the door photo #33. The Door and the Handle are different colors making me believe it is not original. the house is about 21 years old, that may be the age of this door. There are no part numbers or markings at all on the handle components photo #42. and there appear to be multiple mounting configurations possible with these parts, so it seems like this is an after market door repair handle.

If you can identify this door, and suggest a door lock that will actually work, we would appreciate the help.
it would be nice to replace this door handle and lock with the original design.
We really do not want to replace the whole door.

Thank You for your help.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing the company that manufactured your door but the hardware shown in your photos looks like a match to our 82-030 handle set and 82-226 mortise lock.

As for matching the color of the door, that may not be possible, especially if the door is over 20 years old. The 82-030 is offered in beige but I don't believe that the door is beige, just off-white.
