Thumb button?

Question

I am trying to replace some latches (?) on an older home that I recently purchased. The windows are Uniframe double hung revision 4 and two parts are missing. I am trying to find replacements for these things but don't know exactly what they are.

Thanks for writing in! I'm afraid we do not have an exact replacement for the thumb button you are searching for. We also do not have a direct replacement for the latch itself.

Our best replacement recommendation would be to convert the sash to one that uses a surface mounted latch. For this we suggest using something like our 26-228 and 26-229 Tilt Latches but there are a number of other Surface Mounted Latches that can work if the dimensions for those would not fit your sash.
