This is the same door we have in our basement and the thumb latch is broken. We tried to glue it, but it broke again and now the pieece is missing. I know the door is around the year 2000 put in so I'm wondering if you can help me find that thumb latch

Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to say that we do not carry replacements for the Pella patio door handle or the repair parts. You'll need to contact a local Pella dealer to determine if they might be able to supply you with the replacements you need. Although, I cannot make any guarantees.
