Thumb latch broke off

My thumb latch broke off. I tried connecting it, it will work but nothing holds the latch on besides the very little support it has from the lock guide. Which half of the section connecting those 2 is broke off. Not exactly sure how the thumb latch was held against the door in general but its the issue im having. As far as I k ow id need the latch assembly, everything is in working condition. Im wondering if the fact that the hole that all of this is going through isnt lining up very well is the reason it broke? Anyways, im looking to see if that latch is all id need so I can get my door locking again. Thank you!

Hey there. The 82-107 Thumb Lever should replace your old one. Please compare. Most likely the mortise lock in the door broke and is responsible for the thumb lever failing. To find out, try manually 'throwing' the lock with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, then you know it needs to be replaced. See the 82-218. Hi, also.. the wheels on the bottom are very noisy but the door slides fine. Not sure whats making the sound but I can't see to adjust rhe height correctly im thinking something might be broke. Could you identify the wheel kit that I would need as well?

It certainly sounds like the track or rollers might need a look at. Unfortunately there's no way of identifying the rollers without seeing them removed from the door--there's too much variation even if you know the brand. See the guide below that covers patio door maintenance.
