Thumbturn won't turn

I'm going to look at this door tomorrow. I believe that probably the locking mechanism/ lock body needs to be replaced. The thumbturn won't turn. There's a good chance that it's corroded.We live in Hawaii. I wanted to find out who the manufacturers is and what the replacement part would be for this.Thank you

We unfortunately don't sell this exact handle set, and I don't know who the manufacturer is. That said I've known many customers who have used our 82-030 to replace this. The thumb lever on this handle is centered, rather than being situated at the top, but it should still align with the mortise.
The way the old one works is that thumb lever has a little arm that reaches all the way down to the mortise. Our 82-030 just cuts to the chase and has the thumb lever plug right into the mortise directly. Less mechanically complex, and therefore less prone to the kind of failure you're experiencing now.
