I have need for a set of two Balances very similar to your S770-28". However the balances have 27E stamped on them. That does not match any specs on your S770's. In addition I need a set of Pivot Lock Shoes like your 15-184.
Questions are: How to connect Pivot Lock Shoe to Balance? and Which will be the correct balances to order? Thanks in advance

27E is a stronger balance, and is for a 27" length balance if it is Series 770.
To connect the pivot lock shoe to the balance, first remove the window sash and the old balance. Then, screw in the new balance pull on the terminal clip and plug it into the top of the pivot shoe.
