Hi,
When sliding the latch, the locking tooth did not move, and I had to use a pencil to push it so the window would tilt. When I tilted the window, the tooth part sheared off somehow (see photo) and went sailing down to the driveway. My latch is larger than 25-244 at 3 1/2" x 12/16. And it doesn't look the same (see photo), so I wasn't sure what to do about the third measurement. I'm also attaching a pic of the window stickers in case they might yield helpful info.
Can you help me?
Thanks!

Hello! I'm confident we can help, yes. This looks like our 26-317 Certainteed tilt latch. It's technically considered an "internal" tilt latch, even though it sits on top of the sash rather than inside of it. Either way, it looks like it may be just what you're looking for. Check out our photos and dimensions and let me know what you agree.

The length x width measurements look the same, but the slider mechanism that you push with your thumb looks like the one for the bottom sash, whereas I need the part for the top sash. In the photo I sent, it shows how the mechanism is flush with the top of the sash.
What do you think?

Going by just the latch you show in your photo, then I feel pretty confident that the thumb lever is simply missing. What you show in that picture is exactly what our 26-317 looks like without that thumb lever, as seen in this picture.
