Tilt Lock from Jeld-Wen single-hung window manufactured 1996

Question

What part do I need to replace a broken tilt lock (the one pictured is from a garage window of the same style and date, not the one with the broken tilt lock) and how do I replace it?

In order to determine the best match you have to remove the part and measure the size and spacing of the forks. That's the most important dimension and will determine the best match.
