Thanks for posting, Ernest. Please take a look at our 26-317 CertainTeed top tilt latch pair. Do these match your latches before they broke?

Hello, THis looks like the one I need to replace on RT side of my mom's large center Certanteed window. The piece is 3 1/2 inches long, but the one on the LT cannot be removed, so I'm concerned about installation. Is this something I can do myself? Thank you, Ann.

Hello! This latch should just snap in from the top of the sash. I think most customers should be able to do it themselves.

On the CertainTeed Bryn Mawr the latches are installed under a strip of vinyl that runs completely along the top of the sash. You need to unscrew the lock and take off the thumb buttons, tilt the window in and slide the strip off either side to access the latches.
