Hello there. We may be able to help, and this might be either a Series 900 3/8" diameter spiral balance or the Series 600 5/8" diameter balance, but we'll need you to remove this hardware and give us clear dimensions to narrow it down. See the videos on this page for further details.

so I just got this position as a building super and I'm gonna have to change a whole bunch of these. I intend to order many once I get the dimensions I will submit them here. I start on Friday so I will give you the dimensions then. The pictures below shows the system that it uses with the pivot and the spiral balance. I tried removing the sash from the pivot by tilting it down as shown here and then pulling up one side so that it comes out, but as you can see here, the shoe is inside the pivot in a way that it does not come out. I would like to know how to remove this sash from the pivots so that I can change the balances. are you able to provide me a video with instructions on how to work this? I noticed that there is a screw on on the shoe pin that goes into the pivot. do I have to unscrew that in order to remove the sash?
