Tilt Window Spring

A home owner from Baltimore, MD says:
Hello,

The springs in my tilt window failed. The window measures 44" from the top to the sill.

I had the same thing happen to another window in my home. It measured 52". We ordered:
(1) S900-25 : 25" Series 900 Spiral Balance
(1) S900-26 : 26" Series 900 Spiral Balance
(1) S900-24 : 24" Series 900 Spiral Balance

I believe the 26" worked for the 52" window. What would be your recommendation for the 44" window? Thanks.

Could you give me the height of the visible glass for the sash in question? That is the best way for us to calculate what length balance you need. Can you also confirm that it will be using our Series 900 spiral balance?
A home owner says:
Each window has 19 3/8" visible glass. Yes I will be using Series 900. Thanks

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Thanks! Normally, for 19-3/8" visible glass height I would use the S900-20, but you say that for the 52" window you used a S900-26. So using the ratio principle, the 44" window would use Series 900-22.
