Tilt Window Tension Spring and Slide

I have a customer who has older tilt-in windows which use a coil spring and nylon slide for counter balance. The spring catch at the top seems to latch onto the side of the vinyl track, but the vinyl is broke off at the top of the track.

Thanks for writing in! The balance spring you have here is a jamb liner spring balance. Unfortunately, we do not have the replacements for these, or the jambs they install in, so you'll need to reach out to the window manufacturer to inquire about what your replacement options might be.
