I am confident we can help you resolve your spiral balance matter. The white tube of your balance looks like it may be 5/8" diameter. That said, look over our S600-29. Confirm to us whether or not this is accurate. 

To remove your spiral from the pivot shoe, you would unscrew the safety screw. Next, use the charging tool (like the 75-006) to pull it from the pivot shoe. That should do the trick. Since we were unable to see the color of your nylon bearing, can you provide us with that color? One additional note, the balance tubes of the Series 600 balance come in metal and not plastic.
