We recently purchased from you item # 26-234. Although we used the measurements listed for the replacement and thought they matched ours, they did not fit. We're hoping you might be able to help us find the correct replacement. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hello there. Sorry to hear that the 26-234 didn't work for you. Can you go into detail about what measurements seem off? The most important measurements for these surface actuators are the size and spacing of the prongs on the underside. See the image below. If you can tell me what differs, that might help us pinpoint a better option for you if it exists.

Our inside prong measurement is 5/16, as opposed to the 3/16 of the pieces we ordered. The other measurements of our old one match with the 26-234.

Thanks for verifying. Unfortunately, we don't sell anything with those specifications. My best recommendation would be to install a surface-mount tilt latch as an alternative. It takes a little handiwork but as long as you have room to drill holes, it should work well. You can see our full selection here. The video below will also show you how it can be done.

Thank you so much for your help and for suggesting a possible solution. We believe changing to a surface mount latch could work for our windows. We will be ordering parts soon. Again, we appreciate your support.
