Tilt latch on a bettet built window.

A quick learner from Ocala Fl says:
A spring comes out of a hole and presses against the little knob on the end. I think this is an older style. Cant find them anywhere.

I do recognize this latch. The manufacturer of these top tilt latches have discontinued them and do not offer a replacement option. In cases like this, we suggest removing the old tilt latch, reinstall the top side corner screw to keep the sash together and install some top mounted tilt latches like our 26-193 and 26-194. You may be able to install these latches using a #6 pan head screw like our 33-089. Just be advised to be careful when drilling these in to make certain you don't drill too far down into the actual glass.

Thank yiu. I kind of figured we would have to do what you recomend. Thanks for responding.
