Hi, we have 26-228 and 26-229 latches to replace broken latches. The replacements are a little too big (comparison in one photo attached). What part do we need instead?

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to know the exact dimensions of your original latch compared to the replacements you purchased. The distance between the center of the installation holes is especially important. From there, we'll have a better idea od what might work for your window. Thank you!

Between the center of each hole: 2 and 1/8 inches. Width is a tick over 1 inch. Length is 2 and 7/8 of an inch. Also I see my friend forgot to include the comparison pic -adding here

The 26-120 and 26-121 are a bit smaller than the latches you purchased, but are still larger than the measurements you provided, so I can't guarantee they would work. Unfortunately, this would be our best match based on the specifications you've provided. Take a look and see what you think.
