Vinyl tilt sash pivot bar rusted out. 2.25 inches long, U channel is 3/16 in high and 5/16 in wide. Having trouble identifying window make.
Tilt sash vinyl window pivot bar. Looks like I channel rusted out. Need screws too.
Thanks for reaching out to us. Looks like your installation hole center is set back 2-1/16" from the front tip. That's a bit of an odd placement for the hole, and we don't have anything that matches exactly, but I think our 26-068 is worth considering. This has elongated holes that gives you a little more wiggle room, and the back hole is 2-1/8" from the front tip. With the elongated hole I think that will give you enough room to mount this part in the same position. Look it over and see what you think.
As for screw, the 26-068 can work with a #8 screw according to my records. Length is not something I can advise on, though, since that depends more on the window itself than the pivot bar. It's necessary to use the old screw as a reference for length; if it's too corroded to serve that purpose, then you'll have to resort to a little trial and error.
