How do I know if it is a 1 or 1 1/4 and which model

This shoe looks like our 1-1/4" wide 15-195 pivot shoe at first glance, but I see that yours has a deep groove in the stem. This means that our 15-195 will not fit on your channel balance, which as a similar groove in the metal channel.
The only option we can recommend is to replace the entire channel balance. See our S795-24. This is our version of what you have installed now, except ours doesn't have that groove.
