Tilt shoe

Thanks for posting. Is the shoe 1" wide? Judging from the picture I believe it is, but please confirm. If so, we unfortunately don't sell a shoe that will replace this. The issue is that your shoe has a deep groove in the stem, which is designed to accommodate a similar groove in the bottom of the metal channel. These were designed that way to make it easier to slide the pivot bars out if and when the sash had to be removed.

We only sell one shoe with that same groove, which is our 15-236. However this is 1-1/4" wide, not 1", and therefore cannot be used as a replacement. See the diagram below for reference.

We've tried getting a hold of this 1" version of the grooved shoe for some time but have never had any luck. The only option I can offer you is an all new channel balance. If that's something you want to pursue, then let me know and we can get started. I would have a few questions regarding the construction of the balance before we can narrow down what you need.
