Tilt spiral balance

Question

I need to replace my spiral balances for my tilt windows. Balance is 3/8 width by 29 long,with red tip. My window weighs exactly 26 lbs. Red tips supposedly only supports 22 lbs. Which tip should I use. Scale is accurate.

Sounds like you have an S900-29. If your sash is 26 pounds then you can use the Green Tip option with no problem. You can see on the chart we show on the S900-29 store page that this carries 14 through 26 lbs.
