Tilt window

Question

Hello, not sure on the parts on what they're called. Looks like a coil broke off on the right side and the window just wants to fall down then you open it. The part on the left side is now cracked as well. Hopefully I can get some help on what I need to repair this and order a few extras to have some around the house. Thanks in advance!

What you're showing here is called a coil balance. It's difficult to identify yours while it's still installed, but from what I can make out it seems to be a mix of components from different styles. I would wager someone tried to replace this in the past, but only partially.

I'm certain that we can still help but I'll need a photo of the assembly removed from the window in order to find a good fit. Would that be possible?
