Window Balance and Parts Replacement

I have old metal double hung windows in my apartment that don't stay up and I see that the plastic shoes are broken. They are 1 inch wide by 1 " high. Please see the pictures and let me know if you have the replacements. As well if I need to replace the 22" spiral balances as well please let me know the item numbers. I see that the left is a red and there right doesn't have a color and seems slightly thinner. I would replace both to match. thanks Glenn

Thanks for contacting us, Glenn. These look like very old style windows. I can honestly say that I've never seen this balance configuration before. I can't guarantee that we can help with these, but we will do our best to track down a reasonable replacement option for you. I just don't want to get your hopes up. Please give us a little more time and I will get back to you ASAP.

Thanks for your patience. I'm afraid that I've never seen this component, either. It's very much unlike anything we sell.

At this time I can say with confidence that we don't sell a balance that matches what you show here. Can you just verify that what you're showing here is the entire piece? If there is any part of it that is broken off or missing, that may account for why I don't recognize it. Seeing the entire part would be ideal, if at all possible.

If this is the entire piece then we unfortunately won't be able to supply you with a replacement.

Is it possible to sell me another that would fit? It doesn't have to be the same if I replace the long balance part and the part that screws into the bottom of the window with the peg too correct? It just.

To clarify, there is no component in your window that matches any balance configuration we sell. That includes the spring, shoe, and everything in between. Your entire setup appears to be unique and there is nothing in our inventory that I think would work as an alternative.

If the hardware you're showing me is damaged, then I would be in a better position to judge seeing undamaged variants. Otherwise I don't believe we can get a hold of this.
