I'm looking for this type of replacement latch. My windows are 21 yrs old new when house built. I do not know the brand of the window. Can you suggest a part that will work?

Hello,

I can't be positive since your latch is broken and still installed but the 26-243 and 26-244 come to mind. I would recommend removing an intact latch from one of your windows to compare to the specifications below. Thank you!

Thank you for your suggestion however all my latches have broken. Do you know if I have to take the top sash off or is this model installed without doing so? Would I need a block of wood and hammer to replace these?
