Tilt window latches

My windows are almost 30 years old. All that sun finally has caused many of the latches to break. I purchased latches from another vendor before I found you, and they are exactly the right size, BUT the latch part extends beyond the frame of the latch ( on the side facing into the room) and it needs to be flush in order to operate with these windows. The latch measures : top plate length = 2-3/4", width = 11/16". Housing length = 2-5/8" and depth = 3/8".
