My window will no longer "spring" when I return to close after tilting it.
I suspect the window channel balances are not working properly any more.
The channel piece with string attached has a lot of tension on it. Not sure how to even try to put it back in the window sill????
The length is 24 and 3/4".
The number 949 is stamped on the top. The letters "BS" are stamped sideways to 949 and "NF" is stamped sideways to "BS" underneath it.
