Tilt window slider Simonton Brand

A quick learner from Atglen PA says:

This part is the top slider. Broken. Needs to be pressed to tilt bottom double hung window for cleaning. Window is a replacement window. Manufactured in 1998. Can you also send instructions on how to replace this part?

This might be either our 26-243 and 26-244 Tilt Latches, but you'll need to remove an undamaged version from the window and compare the dimensions to confirm. The video below shows removal and replacement details.
