Spiral Balance Tip Color?

I need guidance on which balance to purchase. My rods are 29? long. The sash weighs 16.3 lbs. The diameter is 3/8 inch.

Looks like you need tilt window spiral balances. Sometimes older balances lack a color tip, but since you kindly gave us the exact sash weight, we can figure out what you need. Now, a 3/8" tilt window spiral balance that has an outer tube length of 29" would be our S900-29. For a sash weighing just over 13 lbs, the Red Tip option should work fine for you. This covers a window sash in the weight range of 10 through 22 lbs. Let me know if you have further questions.
