Top Cap For Balance

A contractor from St. Petersburg, FL says:
Pls see attached photo of a part I need for a Simonton Single Hung Window. The clip is retained at the top with the top cap wedged into a clip on the frame. I believe the product code is 19-005. I checked the measurements from your website and they appear to match. However maybe you can cross reference the part directly to a Simonton window. The window has numbers under a bar code that read: 902878/02. 37.00 76.500 B5SH. Two of the numbers are sizing dims.

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-37 or S385-37 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need to locate the stamp code on the metal balance channel to choose the corresponding strength option.

Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
