Top Mount Balance 2230

Question

Hi,
I have a top mount balance that has the dimensions and specs of 2230 but the cable comes through a hole right bellow the pulley. Installing a 2230 would scrape the cable against the metal edge. Is there another model I can buy?

Hi Sanjay,

It sounds like your balances may be special and need to be specially made. We should be able to help but we'll need to see a picture of an undamaged balance removed from the window, as well as the clip attached to the end of the pulley and the back of the metal channel where the stamp is. Once we have this information, we'll be able to determine what the best replacement option would be for your window. Thank you!
