Top Sash Guide Replacement

Question

I am looking for the replacement part for this top sash guide. I have a few that are broken, which are causing the channel balances to come out. The width is 5/8" and the length is 1 23/32". The top square is 13/32" wide by 5/16" tall. It looks similar to part number 18-171, but the top piece is about half as tall.

Hey, Jeff. Yes, the 18-171 is the best match we have. For some reason the molder changed the design and made the top higher than it was. Some service people have cut down the top since it isn't critical in the operation of the window and is hidden under the top rail of the sash. Could that solution work for you?
