Hi! My contractor cannot find this part, which js broken on two doors from the 90s is there a suitable replacement?

I am very familiar with this part. It's an old guide that was discontinued by the manufacturer back in 2014. That would explain why your contractor can't find it.

The good news is that we do have a verified alternative. The manufacturer themselves recommend using the 23-093. I've had other customers report back to me that it worked well as an alternative.
