Thank you. The only problem I see with your suggestions (18-166,& 18-009 ) is the wide top edge, or the flaired top.
Can the edges of the top be trimmed off without loss of strength?

Yes, the tops can indeed be trimmed off. We just recommend you wear safety gloves when trimming to be safe.
