Top sash guide for Top 19-005

Which top sash guides match the Top 19-005 in channel balance S385-25 with a top 19-005 and a bottom shoe 15-004? Thank!

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. These parts are compatible with a ton of different top sash guides so I'm not sure what to recommend. They aren't interchangeable so the best match will depend on the original. Can you show us a photo of an old and undamaged top sash guide removed from the window sash?

Hi Emily,

There might be 3-5 top sash guides at most that fit the 19-005 Top, with a little bit differences each other. I am not looking for a replacement. I am looking for a whole set of channel balance, i.e. channel balance with top and bottom shoe, plus a matched top sash guide, for a new window. I found that the channel balance S385-25 (2420, L25" for 9-15 lbs) with a 19-005 top (W 1/2" and wing 15/16") and a 15-004 bottom shoe (1-3/32" deep and 15/16" wing) is a good fit. I need to find the top sash guide to match the channel top 19-005. I found one, 18-009 top sash guide. It is 5/8". Can you find any 1/2" top sash guide? Many thanks.

Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying that. We aren't able to help if this is a new application, unfortunately. All of the hardware we sell are meant to be used as replacements for very specific, previously existing parts. They're not meant for new applications like you describe.

That's not to say that you can't use our products. You're more than welcome to try the parts you picked out but we can't exactly make a recommendation for you due to the nature of our business as a replacement hardware company. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
