Hello,

Take a look and compare the specifications of the S371 channel balance to your assembly.

As for your top sash guide, see the 18-124P. Thanks for posting!

A quick learner from Susan says:
My old balance is 28". The measurements of my window glass opening measure slightly less than 27". Based on this measurement my balance proper length should be 27". The top piece of my old balance appears to have been shaved off and two of my windows both have not function properly. I wonder should I use the 28" 371 or 27"380 balance?

Casey from SWISCO responded:

The top fitting of your balance appears to match the S371. As for the length, if the metal channel of your original balance measures 28" and has worked well in your window up until now, then you would need the S371-28 channel balance.

Now you'll just need to locate the stamp code on your metal channel to choose the corresponding strength option for your replacement balances. You could also weigh your sash and follow the chart under the balance product description if you want to be positive that you have the correct spring strength for your windows.
