Top tilt latch for window (Spectrum single-hung vinyl window)

Question

I need to replace a window tilt latch. Your #26-471 (pr) looks like the correct one and the length & width match. While it appears my tilt is a snap in - only the very top of it sits atop the window (considered flush?) - I'm not sure how to remove it and install a new one. Can you advise how to remove the latch? I have not attempted to remove the latch because I don't want to mess up the window.

We can't be sure without seeing your original latch installed but as long as the specifications below match yours, you should be good to go.
