Traco hurricane door track blocks

These blocks when in place prevent the door from being lifted out. I think their only purpose is security. Therefore I am assuming that for upper level installations they could be permanently removed. Do you agree?

We are trying to replace the wheels and track guard on a set of doors that have never been serviced.
If after 16 years in place, we destroy these blocks getting them out, are there replacements available?

We have already replaced the wheels and some latch mechanisms using your parts on numerous doors in our condo building.

Thank you

Hello!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're not familiar with this part as we have no replacement for it so I'm afraid we don't know if they could be permanently removed, unfortunately. Contacting the original manufacturer of the door would be your best bet if you can track them down. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
