Triangular pieces made of wood for drawer support or drawer stops?

Quick Learner from Minneapolis

Please tell me what these are called. They are glued into an old dresser that I am restoring. 5 are missing and I would like to rep.ace them. Do you sell these? The photo is taken of them installed, inside where the drawer would be ( the dresser is on its side).Thank you.

Hello, Melanie. I'm afraid that I don't know what these are called. I can tell you that we don't sell them. They appear to be wood wedges of some sort. I'm sure you could find something equivalent at a local hardware store, or even have a carpenter make them for you.

Hi Melanie! I'm not sure what those are called in drawers, but similar wedges connecting stair risers and treads on their underside, are called "glue blocks". I believe they help to prevent squeaking in that context. You could try searching "glue blocks in drawers", see if that turns anything up!
