Hello,
We have these doors and as you can see the weather stripping needs to be replaced. Is there a way to remove it without taking the frame down. Can it pop out (any expert tip?) or does it need to slide out from the top or bottom of channel, as I don't see that as a real option.
I don't want to grab a piece and pull, only to find out that was not a good idea. Once out I can measure and send pics to order the right stuff.
Thank You and hope you can help.

Hello, Rob. I'm not sure about this one. That wool pile really looks sealed in there. For this type you usually need to pull it out from the end but you don't seem to have a gap where that's possible. My recommendation would be to try to make one. You could use a razor to cut away a small gap at the end of the channel, that would hopefully give you clearance to pull it out. That's what I'd do, anyway; make sure to wear safety gloves if you try to cut anything.
