Triple Track Outer Guide Frame

I am interested to find out if you have hardware or a suggestion on how to reconnect the bottom of a triple track frame.

I've known many service people who repaired their storm window master frame by attaching one flat corner on the flange that is screwed to the wood frame and another on the outside frame. You can use pop rivets or short screws. Does that sound good to you? Let me know what you think.
