Trouble installing 82-033

Question

I purchased 82-033 Patio Glass Door Handle Set, 3-15/16".
I do not know how to put the lock lever into the inside handel and my old one
does not have a plastic cap on the end of the lever that moves the lock
And the bottom bolt does not meet the hole of the outer handel . Can you help me?

That black plastic cap on the end of the thumb turn must be removed before installing it into the handle. The reason they put the black cap on the thumb turn is so that it does not put a hole in the packaging during shipping.
