Truth 31761A

Question

Need to replace 12 of these. Swisco recommendation is 81-170. Unlike the Truth 31761A, the offset mounting tabs are bent up,not in line with the bottom of the housing. Your 81-018 has tabs that are in line with the bottom of the housing and looks like it matches the Truth 31761A better. Question 1 : will it work? Question 2: why is the 81-170 four times the price of the 81-018? Thanks!

That number you gave us is the Truth number for the housing only. It's not the best way to identify what you need, which is why our suggestions are tentative pending confirmation. The 81-018 is a more common type of roller with straight tabs. The 81-170, with the bent tabs, is a custom made roller, to explain the difference in cost. We also carry the 81-018 in a stainless steel version; see our 81-149. If you want, you can always send us a photo of your roller with dimensions for us to take a look at and recommend a match.
