If the crank operator is stripped, the full mechanism will need to be replaced. To further review, we will need to see the window open where we can view the arm attachment. From there we can determine the overall style you have to confirm a good fit! 

Since the crank is stripped, with the window unlocked, you should be able to gently push the window sash open to expose the arm. Thank you!
