Truth Entry Gard Dual Arm Operator

A home owner from Kansas says:
I believe what I currently have can be replaced by your part 39-031 (locks on the upper left of the window). Part numbers that I see are 20810, 3084?L and 30744. Everything works well, the gears turn; but the "spindle" looking part that the crank attaches too disengages from the bottom portion when someone tries to close the window. It works fine to open the window, but "pops out" of position and does not engage the gears when we try to crank the window closed. Does the entire operator need to be replaced?

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Yes, once that worm gear comes out there's no repairing it. You will need an all new operator. As long as the dimensions and design match our 39-031, you should be good to go.
