Truth EntryGard operator wheel

Question

Hello Swisco,

I have a Truth EntryGard operator wheel which is getting bound up on the track holes. The wheel spins freely, but the edge of the wheel is chewed up. I'm guessing the wheel is no longer the correct diameter and that's what's causing it to get bound up.

I see the wheel is riveted on to the end of the operator arm and it doesn't look like you sell replacement wheels. So... I need to purchase a whole new operator? If so, please help me select the correct part based on my photos and let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks!

Thanks for posting! You are correct, since the wheel of your operator is damaged, you would need to replace the entire mechanism. Unfortunately, I'm not sure it is sold separately anywhere.

Your operator appears to have a shortened link arm, so there are two possible recommendations I can make. Take a look over the dimensions for the 39-156 Caradco Window Crank and the 39-333 Egress Operator. Carefully review and compare them to determine which might be the best fit for your repairs.
